The Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS) is pleased to invite you to the 6th Canadian GeoHazards Conference – GeoHazards 6 – to be held 15-18 June 2014 at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The GeoHazards conferences are the premiere forums in Canada for the sharing and dissemination of scientific and engineering knowledge related to geohazards.

Geohazards affect a broad spectrum of public and industrial interests in Canada. In many ways the risks posed by geohazards are increasing as we spend more time in hazardous places, and place more infrastructure there. GeoHazards 6 will include applied research reports and case studies related to a broad range of geohazards, and the risks they pose, with the goal of sharing ideas, approaches, and solutions to similar but unique engineering and scientific problems related to geohazards.
